Season 8
And, it’s Kris Allen who took home the crown of American Idol for the eighth season of the most popular American reality TV show. The announcement left many shocked, including Kris Allen himself. The scintillating two hour season finale was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles where host Ryan Seacrest made the announcement.
The final results also took Kris by complete surprise and upon hearing it he was at complete loss of words. The 23 year old, with very twinkling eyes said, “Are you serious? Are you friggin’ serious? It feels good man, but Adam deserves this. I’m sorry”. As Kris was not ready for such results.
